Hear It From Me

I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these items lead me to want to be a teacher. I want to show to every child that it is fantastic to be your unique self. We are all different and we must do our best to appreciate every part about us.

A little bit about me: I am a senior at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. I grew up in northern Wisconsin with my 2 parents, sister, and dog. I love to swim in my lake, play tennis, go on walks, watch netflix, and eat sushi. I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher ever since second grade. The positive impact my teacher had on me made me want to show my students that school can be enjoyable. It does not have to be a scary experience because the classroom should be a comfortable and welcoming environment.
